Give your child the right start in swimming. Our coaches assess level, confidence, and readiness to

Schedule Tryout

Brave Whales Tryout

We evaluate your child’s level and place them in the right group for steady progress.

A tryout is a short introductory session with a coach where we assess your child’s level in the water.
We look beyond basic skills — we observe how your child feels in the water, responds to instructions, and whether they are ready to learn in a group setting.

This helps us choose the most comfortable and effective starting point.

How It Works

How the Tryout Works

The tryout lasts about 15–20 minutes and is conducted in a calm, supportive environment.

Your child will enter the water with a coach and complete a few simple tasks based on their level.

During the session, we evaluate:

  • comfort level in the water
  • basic swimming skills and coordination
  • ability to follow instructions
  • readiness to learn in a group

After the session, the coach will recommend the most suitable group and next steps.

Who the Tryout Is For

The tryout is suitable for children of all levels — from beginners to those who already know competitive strokes or are part of a swim team.

We place children into groups based on age and skill level to ensure they feel confident and continue progressing without unnecessary stress.
